Kampor je možda najviše na otoku zadržao izgled starog ribarskog mjesta u koje su se vješto ugnijezdile nove kuće otvorene turistima. Blizina sume Kalifront i duga plaza, stare kuće pod brdom i one sasvim nove, ribe i domaći zeleni proizvodi, sve je to Kampor u šarmantnoj igri starog i novog, bas po mjeri suvremenog čovjeka.
Na ulazu u Kampor nalazi se stari franjevački samostan na obodu Uvale sv. Eufemije. Franjevci su se u samostanu nastanili još 1445.g., pa je upravo obilježena petsto pedeseta obljetnica njegova postojanja
U ovom životopisnom mjestu turistima je ponuđeno 1250 ležaja u sobama visoke kategorije i 700 u apartmanima i stanovima.Kampor befindet sich auf der nordwestlichen Seite der Insel. Mit seinen zwei Buchten, der Hl. Euphemia und der Sandbucht Kampor den weiteren vielen kleinen Buchten auf dem am meisten bewaldeten Teil der Insel Kalifront, der Hotelsiedlung Suha Punta, Privatpansions, Ferienwohnungen stellt Kampor ein wichtiges touristisches Potential.
Am Rande der Hl. Euphemia - Bucht befindet sich das Franziskanerkloster mit einem Museum, Galerie Testen, Klosterbücherei. Das ganze wurde in einer wertvollen Bauart erbaut, die seit Jahrhunderten in dieser Gegend dominiert
Kampor is located in the north-west of the island.
