Palit is partly located in the St. Euphemia bay, which is on one side formed by a little peninsula Frkanj. Frkanj is a wooded peninsula that attracts tourists with its wild nature and beautiful little bays. Kalifront is another, much bigger peninsula where a protected wood of autochthonous oak-wood crnika is situated. The western side of the island is made of numerous bays behind which are pine tree woods. One can find accommodation in board and lodging houses, apartmenes and in the hotel Imperial.
